“Haldi” is an Indian wedding ceremony where the haldi (yellow paste) are applied to both the bride & groom as a blessing of well-being and prosperity to the couple before the official wedding.

“Choora” is an Indian ritual where the colorful bangles are put on the bride’s wrists with white covering cloth as a symbol of blessing for the newlywed.

We had the privilege of not only capturing these beautiful moments but also witnessing such an amazing and meaningful tradition; one which we will never forget.
